General
Do you work on all motorcycle makes and models?
Yes. We work on all makes and models from naked bikes and sports bikes to adventure tourers, cruisers, and classics. If you’re unsure whether we can help with your specific bike get in touch and we’ll confirm before you book.
How long will my bike be with you?
It depends on the service. An Essential Detail is typically completed same day. A Full Enhancement takes one full day. Ceramic coating packages take one to two days depending on condition and prep required. PPF installations vary by kit size but allow one to two days as a guide. We’ll confirm your specific timeline at the point of booking.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All services are by appointment only so we can dedicate the full attention your bike deserves. We recommend booking at least one to two weeks in advance, particularly for coating and PPF services which require dedicated studio time.
Detailing
What's the difference between the Essential Detail and Full Enhancement?
The Essential Detail is a thorough maintenance service — a deep clean bringing your bike back to its best after a run or between seasons. The Full Enhancement goes further, adding paint decontamination, light machine polishing, and sealant application to restore genuine gloss and shine. If your bike has lost its depth of colour or looks dull under light the Full Enhancement is the right choice.
PROTECTION
What's the difference between ceramic coating and PPF?
Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint creating a protective layer that repels water, dirt, and contaminants, making maintenance significantly easier and protecting against UV damage and light scratches. PPF is a physical film applied to your panels protecting against stone chips, road debris, and physical impact. They solve different problems — many riders choose both for complete protection, which is why we offer a combined package.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Our ceramic coating packages come with a manufacturer backed 5-year warranty when properly maintained. With regular maintenance washes and annual inspections the coating will perform at its best throughout that period.
Can I get ceramic coating and PPF together?
Absolutely. Our PPF Standard Bike Kit with Coating Add-On combines pre-cut PPF on all key panels with ceramic coating applied to every unprotected surface — complete all-over protection in a single visit.
My bike is a few years old, which package is right for me?
For used or older bikes we recommend the Full Enhancement and Coating package. This combines thorough paint correction removing existing defects with full ceramic coating applied over perfectly prepared paintwork. For PPF on a used bike paint correction may be required beforehand and will be quoted separately — we’ll assess this when you get in touch.
PPF
Will PPF change the look of my bike?
No. PPF is completely invisible once applied. It preserves your paint exactly as it is underneath, protecting it from stone chips, scratches, and road debris without altering the appearance of your bike in any way.
Is PPF available for my specific model?
We use precision pre-cut patterns fitted to your specific make and model. Pattern availability varies so we recommend contacting us to confirm before booking. Get in touch with your bike details and we’ll confirm availability straight away.
PRACTICAL
Is my bike insured while it's with you?
Your bike is fully covered under our trade insurance while it is in our care. Our studio is a secure facility with CCTV throughout. We treat every vehicle as if it were our own — your bike is in safe hands from the moment it arrives to the moment it leaves.
Will my bike be ridden while it's with you?
Never. Once your bike is with us it stays with us. We push it into position, we don’t ride it. You’re the only one putting miles on your machine.
Is my bike safe to ride after ceramic coating or PPF?
We’ll confirm your specific cure time at collection. As a general rule ceramic coating requires a minimum of 24 hours before the bike is exposed to water or rain. PPF is safe to ride immediately after installation but we recommend avoiding prolonged rain or pressure washing for the first 48 hours to allow the film to fully cure.
Do you offer collection and delivery?
Yes. If you’re unable to ride your bike to us or would prefer not to we can arrange collection and delivery. Get in touch when booking and we’ll confirm availability and any applicable charges based on your location.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
If your bike has a built in battery optimiser please bring the charging plug with you so we can keep your battery topped up during longer services. If you have a preferred chain lubricant bring that along too — after we degrease and clean your chain we’ll apply it ready for your next ride. Other than that just bring your keys and leave the rest to us.
Can I leave my helmet and riding gear with you?
Absolutely. We have secure storage for helmets and riding gear so you can leave everything with us and get picked up or make your own way home without carrying your kit.
Can I leave my panniers on?
You can, but in most cases we’d recommend removing them before drop off. It gives us better access to the panels underneath and ensures nothing gets missed during the service. If you’d prefer to leave them on just let us know when booking. Either way we have secure storage in our facility so your panniers are safe with us while your bike is being worked on.
How do I maintain my ceramic coating?
We provide a full coating care maintenance guide with every ceramic coating package. As a general rule avoid automatic car washes, use a pH neutral shampoo for maintenance washes, and rinse your bike thoroughly after riding in rain or salted roads. We recommend an annual inspection to ensure your coating is performing at its best throughout its warranty period.
